Rainin Pos-D Positive Displacement Pipettes
With precision engineering and positive displacement technology, the Rainin Pos-D™ delivers highly precise and reproducible pipetting for viscous, volatile, foaming and conventional aqueous solutions. Six models for a wide volume range: 10, 25, 50, 100, 250 and 1000 µL.
In constant use.
Hydrogels/biomaterials
These really make any work with hydrogels simple and straightforward. No more worrying about bubbles and there is much less waste of material.

Very good, easy to use and precise
General laboratory use
Comparing the different kinds and brands of the all important pipette, I quickly developed a preference for the mettler toledo range. It truly is the backbone of a lot of lab protocols and is worth investing in. I can only encourage the use of this brand.

Problem Liquids? No Problem!
The Rainin Pos-D™ is ideally suited for liquids with high densities, viscosi¬ties and vapor pressures. Disposable capillaries and pistons, and positive displacement technology eliminate the poten¬tial for cross-contamination from aerosols, samples or the pipette. The positive wiping action of the piston against the capillary wall assures complete dispensing without droplets. Pistons and capillaries are pre-assem¬bled and presterilized ready for use.
No contamination
Because the piston makes direct contact with the sample, there is no air gap, and no chance for aerosols to form. Disposable pistons and capillaries protect samples from contaminating the instrument.
Natural fit and feel
The Pos-D’s ergonomically designed handle has a natural feel and fits com¬fortably in your hand. The fingerhook supports the pipette so you don’t have to grip it tightly.
Pre-assembled disposables
Capillaries and pistons are assembled and racked by a robotic process that eliminates human contact, then sterilized by e-beam radiation. No assembly required - ready to snap on and use.
Wide volume range
- 10 µL (0.5 – 10 μL)
- 25 µL (3 – 25 μL)
- 150 µL (20 – 50 μL)
- 100 µL (10 – 100 μL)
- 250 µL (50 – 250 μL)
- 1000 µL (100 – 1000 μL)
