IgG and IgG subclasses in Clinical Trials Studies
Optilite is our most recent purchase in the lab. In terms of ease of use, it's one of the best I have encountered so far. Technical support is also very responsive. Results are more reliable compared to other Nephelometry instruments.

When using the equipment, it is inconvenient because the operating program cannot be easily accessed and viewed until reexamination. In some cases, the inspection date does not appear when printing data, which can confuse users. Convenient when adding samples. I wish there was a holder that could cover the entire rack where the sample is placed. I think it would be more convenient if the racks attached to the equipment were used in a single row in the future. Having to lift the waste water tank to empty it can cause musculoskeletal disorders, so a connection to the waste water line is necessary. I hope the acceptance criteria for calibration are clearly given. The height of the equipment is high, making it inconvenient to place it on the laboratory table and conduct experiments. We hope that the review of antigen excess will be strengthened and the reliability of results will increase.

Using Optilite for IgG Subclass Testing - my wise decision.
Special Protein Analyzer
My lab has performed IgG subclass testing for a long time. In initial time, I used Mininepth from The Binding Site - a semi-automatic analyzer for the testing before moving to Optilite and I was convinced about its effectiveness absolutely. From now, I have used Optilite for more than 3 years and it can help the workflow in my lab fast, smooth and save time. Note that the analyzer fits your lab if your lab throughput is high. With my lab, at least 20 tests per day can help us keep the balance between the operating cost, reagent cost and profit of the testing. Analyzer: easy to use and maintain. Rarely meet an error regarding hardware and spare part. Reagent: stability time after opening a vial is 3 months, large measurement range. Cleansing chemicals are cheap and trivial.

Prozone effect and IgG subclass results

Although it is usefully used in the laboratory, issues such as the prozone effect occur occasionally. Also, feedback on the results of high IgG subclasses is needed.
