Moisture analyses in Poliamid 6

This aparature is very use to by operators, to be honest it is even difficult to do any mistake. It's it very profitable for us because we get an moisture assessment in less than 2 minutes. Before NIRS we used to do this analyses on Karl Fischers titrators, which is very accurate bot time-consuming method, so in fact it help us to improve our drying process (faster results means higher dryers availability for us). After sales care for customers is on the highest level - they are always for us if needed.

Moisture analyses in Poliamid 6

This analyzer it's the best thing which we could implemented for very quick Poliamid drying process control. It is very easy to use - our operators are doing analyses on this aparature, they have never made any mistake (it is almost impossible to do any mistake). It helped us to improve our bottle neck in production. It also give us an opportunity to extend using this aparature for other analyses on which we are currently working. After sales care is on the highest level - they are always for us whit any question we have. It was worth for sure this price.

Improving the corn to ethanol fermentation process with near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS)

In this white paper, Metrohm describes the capabilities of the modern analytical method near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy for monitoring and improving the fermentation process of corn to ethanol. Analysis time of in-process fermentation samples is reduced from one hour to five minutes—nearly 90% Additional time savings by close monitoring of the fermentation process with NIRS also allows ethanol producers the ability to increase their manufacturing capacity by up to 10%.

NIR spectroscopy: The efficiency boost for QC labs

Across the wide range of material and chemical production industries, demand is growing for improved quality assurance and quality control (QC) processes. As the regulation and quality requirements become stricter in these industries, there is an increasing focus on developing cost-saving and time-efficient methods. Near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy is a method that addresses these requirements and is particularly suited for driving efficiencies in QC.

In this application eBook, we cover:

  • The basic principles of how NIR spectroscopy works
  • The benefits of this technique over traditional alternatives
  • Selected application examples in several key industries
  • A detailed evaluation of the cost savings and the impact on data integrity
