Agilent J&W HP-FFAP is designed primarily for the analysis of organic acids, free fatty acids, or samples that require quantitation of acidic impurities. The FFAP stationary phase is modified with acid to provide a very inert column that can accommodate the demanding analysis of acids dissolved in water. Free fatty acids up to C24 can be analyzed by HP-FFAP without costly and time-consuming derivatization. HP-FFAP does not require priming (several injections of acids) and so accurate results can be obtained quickly.
