Superior performance for your instrument – with maximum availabilityHena 50 and 70 are single-stage, oil-sealed rotary vane pumps which have been specially developed for the demanding requirements of mass spectrometer systems. They achieve pumping speeds of between 32 and 59 m³/h, depending on their size and speed of rotation. Their integrated oil mist separator ensures clean exhaust air. They are equipped with a frequency converter that enables them to be used worldwide with single-phase input and identical vacuum performance for 50 and 60 Hz.
A constantly high flow rate in the target pressure range, adjustable pumping speeds and low final vacuum provide maximum performance for your instrument. Maximum maintenance intervals and long operating times are ensured by the high oil volume in the pumps and their low oil temperature during operation.
Customer benefits:
- Reliable high performance of the instrument due to constantly high pumping speed in the target pressure range
- Long maintenance intervals
- Ideal for laboratory use
- Efficient oil mist separator ensures clean exhaust air
Customized vacuum systems for modern labs
In this application note, Pfeiffer Vacuum summarizes the complete development process of customized vacuum systems from a customers' requirements to the finished solution, outlining a range of available options that aim to provide the best results for unique modern applications.
Process optimization for rotary vane pumps
Rotary vane pumps are subjected to severe stress by certain process gases and operating modes. Optimal protection for the pump can be provided by using auxiliary gases. The combination of gas ballast and flushing gas in this form is available only from Pfeiffer Vacuum.
Gas ballast is used primarily in drying, freeze-drying and distillation applications. Flushing gas is the preferred choice for severe loading cases, corrosive applications and all processes that use aggressive media.
If corrosion is prevented, the pump has a longer service life. Longer intervals between oil changes also result in a reduction in costs.
