Product is effective but the cost is high, need to lower the cost so that it is easy for purchasing but the product does give the perfect results.

These Eclipse tips are great tips, easy to reload into the empty boxes - helping to reduce plastics waste introduced into nature from science work done in academic labs. I love that there is a visible commitment to reducing waste to our planet and that their tips and tubes are CERTIFIED under the ACT Environmental Impact Labels and that they use clean energy to do the production.

Sustainability:
- Carbon Sequestration! The support base is made of a unique and recyclable polyethylene bioplastic that is certified carbon negative, sequestering 2.5X its weight in CO2 to help offset your pipette tip use.
- Shipped in 100% renewable packaging with minimized plastic content.
- Created with minimal materials that consist of 60.2% usable product, 39.8% eco-packaging, and can be easily recycled after use.
- Packaging and labels are printed with vegetable-based inks eliminating the use of heavy metals.
- This product has been independently audited for the Accountability, Consistency, and Transparency (ACT) Environmental Impact Factor label for laboratory products. ACT examines sustainable manufacturing, user impact, and end-of-life environmental impact. The current ACT score for this product can be found at act.mygreenlab.org.
Quality:
- Labcon tips are tested for fit, function, reproducibility, accuracy, liquid retention, contamination, clarity, ease-of-ejection and smooth-open orifice.
- Labcon Eclipse Tips are developed using our own in-house laboratory and tested on real pipettors.
- All the Eclipse ® tips we make are made of high quality 100% pure virgin medical grade polypropylene. No recycled plastics in our tips. Resins are pre-tested to ensure no extractables are present (free of DiHEMDA, oleamide, and BPA).
- Every lot of tip is lab tested and certified free of detectable ATP, Nuclease (RNase/DNase), Endotoxin (pyrogen) contamination and certified to U.S.P. results. Resins are pre-tested for metal contamination.
Validated sterility:
- Sterile tips are certified sterile with a 10-6 sterility assurance level (SAL) required for use in research, clinical and diagnostic labs.
- Tips are sterilized according to ISO 11137.
UNO filter tip refills
- Labcon filtered tips are additionally certified free of: Protease and human DNA.
- 10 µm average pore size filters guarantees that the pipette’s barrel is kept clean of: DNA, radionuclides, and other contaminants.
- Suitable for DNA manipulation, PCR, and radionuclides.
- Non self-sealing filter allows samples to be completely recovered without cutting into pipette tips.
