The sbeadex Blood DNA Purification Kit uses magnetic bead DNA purification technology for blood samples of up to 200 µL in volume.

Unmatched quality, reliability and credibility have established KASP as the foundational SNP genotyping chemistry for the Agrigenomics industry.

Our proprietary sbeadex magnetic microparticles are designed to deliver high yields of high quality DNA, and have long enabled high throughput automated processing. sbeadex™ magnetic microparticles offer two key features which enable the extraction and purification of high quality DNA preparations: A novel two step binding mechanism via a patented adapter enables binding of nucleic acids more specifically. Final washes with pure water to deliver nucleic acids in high yield, purity and quality. Features: Development of customised protocols to your requirements Tailor-made extractions like modified lysis or eluation steps according to user requirements Extraction speed optimisation - quicker results Highly flexible batch sizes Technical advantages: Final washes with pure water to deliver nucleic acids in high yield, purity and quality No potential PCR inhibitors in wash buffers - e.g. organic solvents, salts, polyethyleneglycol Applicable for most popular robotic platforms (f.e. Hamilton, TECAN or KingFisher) Available sbeadex kits: sbeadex plant kit sbeadex blood kit sbeadex plasmid kit sbeadex forensic kit sbeadex tissue kit sbeadex livestock kit sbeadex pathogen kit The sbeadex technologies are suitable for high throughput automation and we have substantial experience developing sbeadex kits and protocols for use with a wide range of automation systems.

Kleargene spin plates utilize a glass fibre solid support and are suited for manual or automated DNA extractions from small samples. This includes samples such as plant seeds and tissue, animal tissue (rodent tails, etc...), blood, buccal swabs, buffy coat, saliva and more. Kits are available in both 96 and 384-well formats. The technology is optimally suited for nucleic acid extractions yielding between 100 ng to 10 µg of DNA.

The oKtopure™ is a fully automated nucleic acid extraction instrument that enables a new level of high-throughput processing and significant cost savings. This platform combines standardised high-throughput DNA or RNA extraction from a variety of sample types with the proprietary sbeadex™ magentic bead based extraction chemistry. The oKtopure is part of our on-going programme to provide customers with high productivity solutions, first developed and optimised for use within our service labs, where every day we deliver Extraction, Sequencing and Genotyping services. Key to the delivery of consistently high quality and high yield DNA preparations from the oKtopure is its ability to bind and hold the magnetic beads, and hence the DNA in place whilst transferring the buffers required for washing, binding and elution steps. The final aqueous wash used in the sbeadex extraction protocols enables the delivery of nucleic preparations ideal for downstream applications such as SNP genotyping, NGS and Sanger sequencing. Features: High throughput - capable of processing eight 96-well plates (768 samples) in approximately one-and-a-half hours Robust tip washing system reduces consumable costs by 50% or more Preloaded methods for different sample types – fully customizable Extraction expertise and support from scientists who use the instrument daily and have been carrying out high throughput extractions since 1996!

Next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies have dramatically reduced sequencing costs and led to novel approaches in many fields of biology.

This complete service package is a cost-effective way to genotype large sample and SNP numbers for plant, livestock, and aquaculture species.

The first step in any study investigating genetic differences in an organism of interest is the purification of DNA, and the nucleic acid extraction teams at LGC provide DNA extraction services to meet the demands of any project. Depending on project size, specific customer requirements and the biological background of the project, we can provide an optimised solution using any one, or a combination, of our propietary extraction technologies.

Fully Automated PCR Setup, Amplification and Analysis System. The IntelliQube is the first fully automated and high-throughput instrument featuring seamless integration of liquid handling, thermal cycling, detection, and data analysis. The IntelliQube supports quantitative real-time PCR, end-point PCR, and isothermal chemistries, allowing you to realize the benefits of inline automation enabled by the innovative Array Tape™ consumable. IntelliQube leverages best-in-class multi-functional dispensing for high speed liquid handling in 384- or 768-well Array Tape™. Precise sample dispensing into Array Tape is handled by an interchangeable CyBi® FeliX 96- or 384-channel pipetting head. The IntelliQube supports inline amplification with a Peltier thermal cycling block designed specifically for Array Tape™. Due to a unique block design and surface geometry, both 384- and 768-well Array Tape are supported, without requiring a block change. The IntelliQube features an advanced optical system optimized for inline fluorescence detection in Array Tape. Filtered LEDs are optimized for a variety of commonly used fluorophores excited within the range of 480-620 nm. A high-resolution CCD camera supports detection of fluorescence intensity within 5 detection channels for dyes emitting within the range of 510-705 nm. Multiplex data capture for all 5 optical channels can occur in as little as 10 seconds. Benefits: Walk-away operation Increased efficiency of lab personnel Reduced chemistry costs Increased throughput Reduced consumable costs

Combining throughput, efficiency and robust design, the Hydrocycler range of water bath thermal cyclers offer an attractive alternative to traditional Peltier-based thermal cyclers for high-throughput PCR.

The QuickExtract™ DNA Extraction Solution can be used to rapidly and efficiently extract PCR-ready genomic DNA from almost any sample type using a simple, one-tube protocol that takes only 3-8 minutes, depending on the sample. The extracted DNA is suitable for PCR analyses, such as genomic, transgenic, or viral DNA screening in animals, or for genetic or environmental research and screening in humans and other organisms.

Nexar™ is a modular inline liquid handling and assay processing system offering a highly scalable solution for PCR-based genotyping.

The Soellex™ is an ultra-high-throughput end-point PCR thermal cycler leveraging a 3-chamber water bath.

Rapid fluorescence detection for PCR and isothermal amplification. The Araya is a top-read fluorescence detector.

Choose standard KASP by Design (KBD) service for design and delivery of a KASP Assay to your SNP or indel of interest. It consists of three KASP primers that are specific to the SNP or indel of interest. Assay design (primer selection) is carried out using our proprietary Kraken™ software system.
