ADAM MC2: One of the Most Accurate Cell Counter

Trypan Blue allows for easy cell counting, making this a very convenient and user-friendly device. The cells are visually displayed on the monitor, which also enables indirect assessment of cell condition, adding to its value. Overall, it is a highly cost-effective model. However, since observation is limited to a fixed field of view, it is not ideal for assessing the overall cell distribution. In general, measurements are performed in auto mode, but the device starts in manual mode upon startup, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, during auto-mode operation, a protruding component on the right side rotates while measuring. It would be preferable if this part were designed internally rather than protruding, to minimize interference with the surrounding workspace. If these minor drawbacks are addressed, this could become an exceptionally cost-effective and well-optimized cell counter.

Hello, I am currently working in the immuno-oncology department. In general, cell counting is a part that cannot be overlooked in conducting experiments. ADAM-MC2 is the best product in that area! First of all, I think it's better because it's easy to use with a touch screen and the process of counting cells can be seen in high quality on the screen, so you can compare the results with your eyes. Via T/N solution, it is possible to directly compare live and dead cells. Above all, there are two functions that I like the most: being able to enter information about which cells I am counting, and being able to search at any time as past records remain. I would recommend this product to anyone struggling with cell counting issues.

ADAM MC2 performed viability and cell counting measurements using the PI staining method combined with the fancy image analysis. It took a few seconds to get reliable counting results and was easy to use for first-time users even. Eventually, we adapted this equipment for the GMP manufacturing of IBC101 (one of our CAR-T pipelines).
