C-chip 2ch: Disposable Hemocytometer
A precision disposable plastic hemocytometer, developed to solve the problems of conventional Glass hemocytometer.
It is a great and reliable product! Very recommended.
Cell Biology applied to Genomics and Immunology
The NanoEntek C-Chip 2-chamber counting device has quickly become one of my favorite tools for routine cell counting. It offers the perfect blend of convenience, accuracy, and cleanliness, making it an excellent alternative to traditional reusable haemocytometers. One of the biggest advantages is its disposable, contamination-free design. Because each C-Chip is individually manufactured with precision-molded chambers, I can count cells without worrying about residues, cleaning errors, or broken glass. This alone saves a surprising amount of time in a busy workflow. The optical clarity of the chambers is outstanding. The grid is sharply defined, easy to focus on, and consistent from chip to chip. Whether I’m doing viability assays, density checks, or tracking growth curves, the visibility and uniformity help ensure reproducible counts. I also appreciate that the chambers mimic the depth of a standard haemocytometer, so I don’t need to adjust any of my existing calculations or protocols. The two-chamber design is incredibly practical. Running duplicate counts side-by-side is fast and efficient, especially when comparing treatments or confirming cell concentration. I’ve found the filling process smooth and bubble-free thanks to the well-designed reservoirs, and the chips prevent evaporation even when I need a few extra minutes at the microscope. Durability may sound odd for a disposable item, but the C-Chip feels sturdy and reliable. It doesn’t bend or warp, and I’ve never had issues with leakage. The sealed construction also makes disposal easy and safe; another plus for busy labs trying to minimise risks and cleanup time. What really stands out is how much the C-Chip improves workflow efficiency. Eliminating the need to clean and sterilize glass counting chambers reduces downtime and removes a common source of variability. For labs that frequently count cells or work with delicate or contamination-sensitive lines, this device pays for itself through time savings alone. In terms of value, the C-Chip strikes a great balance between cost and performance. It delivers consistency that reusable hemocytometers sometimes fail to provide, especially when multiple users are involved. For teaching labs, shared facilities, or any environment where speed and reliability matter, it’s an excellent investment. Overall, the NanoEntek C-Chip 2-chamber counting device is a remarkably well-designed solution that brings accuracy, convenience, and cleanliness together in one simple tool. After switching to it, I find it hard to imagine going back to traditional counting methods. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a hassle-free and dependable cell counting experience.

Perfect disposable Hemocytimeter for cell counting.
Cell counting
Everything is already fixed on the Hemocytometer. It is ready to use. Does not need to buy separate coverslips for performing cell count. Visibility of different chambers are perfect. No need to reuse it as it is disposable which saves time during rush hours.

Good disposable
Nuclei isolation
Very good. Easy to use and cheap. Only bad thing the chips are in plastic also sometimes is difficult to place on microscope, be careful

Great disposable hemocytometer
Work, cell counts
Great piece of kit, so much easier than old school glass hemocytometers. No faffing trying to put glass on and get it perfectly lined up. Tear out of sachet and ready to go.

Overall happy
In vitro human cell culture
Overall, we are very satisfied with the C-Chips. They are easy to handle, deliver precise results, and have been reliable in our routine work. The convenience and consistency they offer are much appreciated by our team. One minor drawback is the relatively high cost, which could be a consideration for broader adoption. As a suggestion for improvement, it would be great to have options for counting multicellular particles — similar to what can be achieved with a Nageotte chamber. A version with different chamber heights or configurations could make the C-Chip even more versatile for a wider range of applications.

Eases some of the stress of experimental work
Parasitology
When you're stressed out trying to create a single nuclei suspension for snRNAseq these hemocytometers make it easy to count your cells so it's one less thing to worry about

Easy and precise
Cell culture
Very easy to use and you gain a lot of time when you have a lot of samples. Also it’s very precise, so I use to quantify cell survival before transcriptomics.

Ease of use
Counting of cell
Sometimes adding of cells is quite hard as aor pressure inside is forcing my pipette tip, making cells harder to enter, can increase the opening width by several nanometers, otherwise quite satisfied with ease of use.
