7250 GC/Q-TOF
Agilent 7250 GC/Q-TOF Identify. Quantify. Simplify. See the Whole Picture
It can do everything
Metabolomics, Food analysis, Flavor Analysis
We have been using this 7250 for almost 3 years to analyze over 10000 injections. We used EI, Low EI, and CI mode. Especially in low EI mode, we can get high sensitivity since the system allows modifying the tune file for optimal QTOF performance.

Black pepper authenticity workflow using the high-resolution Agilent 7250 GC/Q-TOF
This application note from Agilent discusses a novel food authenticity workflow for routine analysis that distinguishes black pepper samples from different geographic regions and detects adulteration. The workflow uses high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) with Agilent Mass Profiler Professional (MPP) and Agilent MassHunter Classifier software to build and apply the classification model.
Workflow for food classification and authenticity using Yerba Mate and high-resolution GC/Q-TOF
In this application note, Agilent describes a novel food authenticity workflow that can be used for food classification and detection of food fraud. As an example, different brands of yerba mate, a tea from South America, will be considered. This workflow employs high-resolution GC/Q-TOF and Classifier software that can be used for routine authenticity analysis beyond food applications.

Contaminants screening using high‑resolution GC/Q-TOF and an expanded accurate mass library of pesticides and environmental pollutants
The use of high-resolution, accurate mass GC/Q-TOF for broad scope screening of pesticides and other contaminants in complex food matrices has been increasing over the past few years.
In this application note, Agilent Technologies describe a streamlined workflow for pesticides screening that is designed to comply with SANTE/11945/2015 guidelines, while offering a high degree of flexibility for the data review process.
Comprehensive profiling of environmental contaminants in surface water using high-resolution GC/Q-TOF
The use of accurate mass high-resolution MS (HRMS) techniques to characterize known and unknown pollutants in a sample is gaining in popularity. However, several environmental contaminants are low molecular weight, volatile, or nonpolar, making them much more amenable to analysis by GC rather than LC.
In this application note, Agilent Technologies demonstrate a workflow using an accurate mass high-resolution GC/Q-TOF for profiling environmental contaminants in samples of interest.
