Product News: Socorex Launches New Bottle-Top Dispensers

Socorex are pleased to announce the release of a new bottle-top dispenser generation intended for the safe and reproducible liquid distribution of volumes up to 25, 50 and 100 mL.

The Calibrex™ organo 525 model includes a ground glass plunger, best suited for organics, and non-crystallizing solutions.

The Calibrex™ solutae 530 model has a PFA coated plunger preventing plunger and barrel from seizing together. This enables trouble free distribution of salt solutions, weak and strong acids, as well as bases.

The choice between the two color-coded organo 525 and solutae 530 models with dedicated chemical resistance increases dispensing flexibility in the laboratory.

Parts in contact with liquid flow are chemically inert, providing for stability and long instrument life. A QR code printed on the instrument gives instant access to an up-to-date chemical resistance chart.

Among other features, instant volume setting with a spring loaded sliding cursor that softly moves up and down scale and precisely stops at desired graduation. An alternative, classical screw button is supplied with each dispenser for easy exchange.

Other features include, in-lab calibration, by means of the integrated key, located under plunger cap, access to calibration system protected by a seal sticker and easy disassembling for cleaning and maintenance without any tools. The new bottle-top dispensers are autoclavable at 121°C / 250°F fully assembled.

Supplied with 45 mm base thread, 120 mm delivery jet and stopper, 350 mm feed tube, alternative screw-type volume setting button, three adapters for bottle necks 32, 38 and 40 mm, each dispenser bears its own serial number and passes a stringent quality control attested by an individual certificate. The Calibrex organo 525 and Calibrex solutae 530 come with a two-year warranty.
