Phenomenex Expands LC SecurityGuard™ Line With New Preparative Cartridge System

Phenomenex Inc., a global leader in the manufacture of separation science consumables, announces the addition of a new SecurityGuard™ PREP Cartridge System to its successful family of LC guard columns.

Designed specifically for preparative LC applications, the PREP system protects columns from 30 to 49 mm in diameter, including Phenomenex’s new AXIA™ high-throughput line. The SecurityGuard PREP System protects preparative LC columns from the damaging effects of chemical contaminants and microparticulates. The easy-to-use system is composed of a reusable, stainless-steel holder and a 15 x 30 mm ID cartridge. Replacement cartridges are available in a variety of bonded phases that can be matched with virtually every HPLC material. The SecurityGuard PREP System is ideal for preparative LC in applications such as drug discovery and development, fine chemical purification, and reference standard preparations.
