The visit took place at Glentham Life Sciences’ recently acquired facility near Bath, UK, and followed the two companies meeting at the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise Reception at Windsor Castle, hosted by The Prince of Wales and the Princess Royal.

Now in its 55th year, the Queen’s Award for Enterprise is the UK’s most prestigious business award, with winning businesses able to use the esteemed Queen’s Award emblem for the next five years.

This is the second time both companies have received the coveted Queen’s Award for International Trade, with Glentham Life Sciences previously being recognized for its outstanding short-term growth in 2017.

Established in 2013, Glentham Life Sciences sources and supplies fine chemicals, biochemicals, and raw materials for use in research development, production, and laboratory applications. The firm has also continued to grow as an essential supplier for COVID-19 test kits and for research into COVID-19 therapies.

SelectScience® is widely considered the eminent digital publisher of science technology content, connecting manufacturers of game-changing lab equipment, products, and services with an international audience of over five million pioneering researchers and health professionals.

For more than two decades, the company has been spearheading online communication in science through peer-to-peer product reviews and resources such as webinars, virtual events, articles, eBooks and its revolutionary video platform, The Scientists’ Channel.
