SelectScience® has announced the latest laboratory products to win a prized Seal of Quality in recognition of outstanding customer feedback.
Launched in July 2017, SelectScience Seals of Quality recognize the top-rated products that have consistently received the highest review ratings from scientists around the world and are designed to further assist scientists in making important purchasing decisions for their labs.
At a glitzy awards ceremony during the 2019 American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Eppendorf became only the 21st company ever to receive a prized Silver Seal of Quality, for its Eppendorf Research® Plus Pipette (adjustable).
Geoff Simmons, Operational Marketing Manager - Northern Europe at Eppendorf UK, said: “What better feedback can we get from our customers than good reviews about our products! We’re very happy to receive this award.”
Another manufacturer celebrating at the party was Logos Biosystems, Inc., which was awarded a Bronze Seal of Quality for its LUNA™ range of automated cell counters.
Karine Labour, Europe Managing Director with Logos Biosystems, said: “We are honored to receive this first quality label from SelectScience. Our daily interactions with our valuable customers drive us to focus on their satisfaction and to excel always by providing innovative and robust solutions. We are proud to listen to our customers to remain close to their needs.”
Ana Kim, US Regional Manager, added: “We are tremendously delighted to have won the SelectScience Bronze Seal of Quality for the LUNA family of cell counters. It means a lot to us that our products have been recognized by researchers in the life science field as an essential tool. Customer feedback has become an invaluable part of our continuous product improvement. We would like to thank all our reviewers for sharing such valuable feedback.”
There are four levels of Seal — Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze — which are assigned to around 0.1% of products on the SelectScience® website and are allocated in line with strict criteria based on the number of reviews a product has received and the average rating of those reviews.
“Our Seals of Quality program aims to help scientists across the world see at a glance the lab products most appreciated by their peers, so we are delighted at how well received it has been across the industry,” said SelectScience Editor, Dr. Lois Manton O’Byrne.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our reviewers for sharing their valuable opinions and also to congratulate the latest Seal of Quality winners, who have been recognized by the people who matter most — their customers.”
