Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps XS

For about 100 years, rotary-vane pumps have remained a central part of vacuum technology. Nevertheless, there is always something to improve for VACUUBRAND. The one and two stage
rotary-vane pumps RE/RZ 2.5, RE/RZ 6 and RE/RZ 9 have many new details and additional advantages:

• Extra light-weight – up to 40% less weight than many common pumps, combined with unmatched compact design. These vacuum pumps are genuinely “portable”!

• Extra low-noise – the RZ 2.5 runs at approx. 42 dBA, determined in the new VACUUBRAND sound lab. We call it “whisper-quiet”!

• Extra energy-saving – up to 25% at ultimate vacuum.

• Extra user-friendly – up to 20% less parts for regular maintenance.

A new lubrication circuit offers enhanced life of wear parts and oil. The new pump module design meets important criteria for daily laboratory work: long service intervals, ease of maintenance and low noise level.

Anti-corrosion design – a significant feature for laboratory use: Important inner surfaces are ground and plasma treated.

A new motor layout provides an outstandingly reduced current draw.

High vapour tolerance for water and solvents is provided by gas ballast of about 10% of pumping capacity. A good ultimate vacuum can be obtained even under gas ballast operation.

The new VACUUBRAND rotary-vane pumps XS are designed for a process vacuum from several mbar down to the 10-3 mbar range.
