INTEGRA is now offering Low Retention GripTips in its popular ECO Racks format. These racks significantly reduce the amount of plastic used in the lab and saves space – by stacking for storage and compressing for recycling. Now available for 12.5, 125, 300, and 1250 μl Low Retention GripTips – in both 96 and 384 tip configurations – these racks contain 60 % less plastic, while maintaining the high standards that customers expect from INTEGRA products. The ECO Racks can also be paired with the company’s one-of-a-kind, reusable PopTop Base for the most convenient pipetting experience.

INTEGRA understands that the physiochemical properties of a liquid can have a significant impact on accuracy and precision, particularly at low volumes, which is why the company developed Low Retention GripTips to work with its range of manual and electronic pipettes. Incorporating a unique polypropylene (PP) blend with increased hydrophobic properties, Low Retention GripTips allow users to confidently pipette low surface tension liquids – such as oils or solutions containing detergents – or viscous fluids that would adhere to the surface of standard pipette tips. The company’s blended PP approach prevents residues washing or leaching out with the sample and negatively impacting results.

Low Retention GripTips, like all GripTips, do not require excessive attachment and ejection forces – unlike universal pipette tips. The design of the GripTip ensures firm attachment and perfect alignment and overcomes the common problem of leaking tips, or even tips completely falling off the pipette, regardless of how many sidewall touch-offs are performed.

GripTips for INTEGRA Pipettes

INTEGRA Biosciences

The GripTips together with VIAFLO, VOYAGER and EVOLVE pipettes from INTEGRA form an integral system. Pipette tip and pipette were designed to fit perfectly together. As a result, the loading and attachment forces of the tips could be reduced to minimize wrist related stresses. In addition, the system provides a perfect tip sealing and reliably prevents tips from accidently falling off during pipetting. Consistent and safe pipetting guaranteed! Using Low Retention GripTips from INTEGRAwith heightened hydrophobic properties prevents low surface tension samples from spreading out at the inner wall of the tips for a maximum liquid recovery. Available in five volumes (12.5 µl to 5000 µl) GripTips come in bulk or stackable boxes (non-sterile, sterile and filtered) featuring colour-coded inserts that correspond to the volume ranges of the INTEGRA pipettes. The 12.5 µl and 125 µl GripTips come in 384-fold configuration, so the same tips and boxes can be used with 16-channel pipettes as well. The GREEN CHOICE is an environmentally friendly packaging of GripTips. Each GREEN CHOICE contains five GripTip inserts of non-sterile or pre-sterilized GripTips to refill the current tip boxes. Features and benefits: GripTips snap onto the tip fitting of INTEGRA pipettes, which prevents tips from falling off. Reduced tip attachment and ejection forces for comfortable, stress-free pipetting. Precise and consistent tip seal ensures that all tips on a multichannel pipette are precisely at an identical height for reliable touch offs and consistent pipetting results.

GripTips for VIAFLO 96/384

INTEGRA Biosciences

When working with a 96- or 384-channel system such as the VIAFLO 96/384, it is essential that the pipette tips are reliably attached. Due to the unique design, the GripTip system ensures that the tips will never accidently fall off, even when performing a tip touch on the sidewall of a vessel. Pipetting with multiple channels into a well plate is a precision task. GripTips for VIAFLO 96/384 undergo an additional quality check for tip straightness, guaranteeing accurate pipetting in 96- and 384-well plates. Depending on the tip size, GripTips are packaged in two different tip boxes. Larger volume GripTips (300 µl, 1250 µl) are delivered in boxes of 96 tips. The smaller volume GripTips (12.5 µl, 125 µl) are filled in a space efficient 384-fold grid in XYZ boxes. These boxes house 4 times as many tips and feature the standard SBS-footprint. All tips are available in non-sterile, sterile or filtered sterile configuration. Features and benefits: • GripTips snap onto the tip fitting of the pipetting head, which prevents tips from falling off. • An additional quality check ensures that pipette tips are perfectly straight, enabling precise pipetting in multi well plates. • Filtered GripTips reliably protect the pipetting head against contaminations caused by aerosols.
