Horizon Technology will be featuring several important sample preparation products in their booth (# 3414) at Pittcon 2014 including disk and cartridge extractors, evaporation systems and a membrane separation disk for easier drying of solvent extracts. The Oil & Grease system will also be shown. The DryDisk® that separates water from an extract will be demonstrated!

New this year, the Horizon Web Store will be unveiled and is expected to make it even easier for customers to see consumables and parts before contacting their local representative to purchase. In the US, customers will be able to purchase directly using credit cards or purchase orders.

Horizon Technology will be presenting 6 oral presentations and one poster during the conference. Visit the booth to see the schedule or request a copy of a presentation.

FiltrationFiltration and microfiltration are used to separate solids, particulates or large molecules from fluids (liquid or gases) in order to purify the filtrate. Explore a range of filter formats, including filter paper, plates and membranes for your separation needs. While larger particulates may be separated by gravity filtration, smaller particulates may require additional force for timely separation. Microfiltration equipment includes vacuum filters, as well as positive pressure, crossflow and centrifugal filtration devices.
