Heathrow Scientific Expands Steel Freezer Rack Line
19 Aug 2010Heathrow Scientific has expanded the range of rack sizes for both upright and chest freezers to accommodate safely stored samples in the most popularly-sized freezers. All racks are corrosion-resistant, stainless steel and have handles for easy access.
The racks conveniently store boxes up to a 133 x 133mm footprint and accommodate 2” tall boxes (up to 53mm) and/or 3” tall boxes (up to 78mm) depending on the rack model. The line expansion gave the product development team at Heathrow Scientific an opportunity to review the design of the product. “We made some new generation improvements and tightened tolerances,” replied Pete Hadjis from Product Development. The line will now feature 17 SKU’s and offer customers more options. “Our customers have always appreciated that our racks can store a wide range of popular brands of plastic or cardboard cryostorage boxes, along with our Heathrow Scientific Arctic Squares® boxes,” continued Hadjis.
