Phosphorylation is a signaling event that occurs within cells controlling processes such as metabolism and growth, and is normally detected through in vitro studies using labeled ATP. This application note describes a method that provides unambiguous identification of phosphorylated peptides using ¹⁸O labeled ATP and unlabeled ATP.
