In this video the Plate-GripX efficiently transports a plate to the Thermo-ShakeX for the shaking of samples. Features of the Plate-GripX include non-slip gripper fingers to ensure safe and controlled transport, an optional plate-check function to confirm the rack has been transported successfully and a transport capacity of 300g (one full deep well plate).

Plate-GripX - Plate gripper
Xiril AGPlate-GripX is the sophisticated plate gripper of Xiril pipetting workstations. This gripper is mounted onto two pipetting channels of the robotic arm and doesn’t require an additional separate robotic arm. The Plate-GripX manages the transport of micro plates, deep well plates, and any item with a micro plate footprint. When not in use, the Plate-GripX is parked onto a magnetic stand at the gripper park station.
Thermo-ShakeX - Automated tempered shaking of microtiter plates
Xiril AGThe Thermo-ShakeX device for automated tempered shaking of microtiter plates can be mounted on a Xiril liquid handling workstation. It is capable of shaking plates at a maximum temperature of 95°C. Specific adapters for flat-bottom, round-bottom and PCR plates ensure efficient heat transfer throughout the incubation period. The Thermo-ShakeX is controlled by the Lirix software package and also permits heating or shaking only. The plate gripper of the Xiril robotic workstation carries out the transport of microtiter plates to and from the thermo shaker.
