IP-One HTRF® Cell-Based Assay

This video describes the Gq-protein activation pathway, which regulates the production of inositol-1-phosphate (IP1) a specific second messenger. Based on HTRF® its proprietary technology, Cisbio has developed a unique IP-One cell-based assay to assess this accumulation.

IP-One HTRF® Assay

Cisbio Bioassays

IP1, a downstream metabolite of IP3, accumulates in cells following Gq recepetor activation and is stable in the presence of LiCl making it an ideal GPCR (Gq) functional assay. Cisbio developed and patented a highly accurate HTRF assay for measuring IP1 in 96-, 384- and 1536-well formats providing for a HTS compatible assay.
