epT.I.P.S. LoRetention

Increased sensitivity with maximum reproducibility Are you dependent on your precious samples? Then don’t leave any valuable residues in your tips when pipetting solutions that contain detergents! Based on a unique and innovative method of material modification, the new Eppendorf epT.I.P.S. LoRetention allow you to transfer almost 100 % of the liquid picked up – for maximum recovery with unbeaten precision. Particularly with sensitive PCR and real-time PCR applications, low-retention surfaces can increase reproducibility and notably reduce the loss of expensive reagents – depending on the reagent solution by up to 5 %! The “Pearl Effect” The ultrahydrophobic, extremely homogenous surface of the epT.I.P.S. LoRetention is achieved through an innovative treatment at the molecular level – the Pearl Effect Technology. The tips are uncoated and free from additives, thus nothing can bleed into the sample. Liquids roll off completely, so that almost no sample remains in the tip. In comparison, the adhesive layer of liquid in standard tips retains considerably more sample material. For users of the new epT.I.P.S. LoRetention, this unique material property guarantees maximum sample recovery, improved reproducibility and higher sensitivity.
