Using Bio-Rad Cell Analysis Workflow Solutions to Better Understand the Pathways of Gene Dosage Imbalance in Down's Syndrome

Watch this video to hear how the use of Bio-Rad workflow solutions has simplified the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University's research into gene dosage imbalance in patients with Down's Syndrome (Trisomy 21). This research group has developed a cell-based model deriving from induced pluripotent stem cells with Trisomy 21. The use of the Bio-Rad Droplet Digital PCR allows the research group to produce accurate results, using only small amounts of the initial matrix of cells, enabling them to select the cell lines with the correct gene knock-out for their research.
