UV-Visible Analysis of Bitterness and Total Carbohydrates in Beer

This application note describes the methods and results for the analysis of bitterness and total carbohydrates in beer samples using the Thermo Scientific Evolution 200 Series UV-Visible spectrophotometer. Sample preparation, analysis and results of the two methods are presented.
