Use of an Enhanced Nebulizer System for Direct Analysis of Volatile Organic Solvents by ICP-AES

The direct introduction of volatile organic solvents to an ICP AES can be problematic. This paper describes an enhanced nebulizer system that couples a low to medium flow concentric nebulizer with a combination heated spray chamber and electrothermally chilled condenser, allowing for direct analysis of volatile organic solvents.
