UPLC Analysis of Benzalkonium Chloride (BAC) in Consumer Products using ACQUITY UPLC CSH C18

This application note presents an alternative to the USP method for the quantitation of Benzalkonium Chloride (BAC). The analysis of BAC is performed with a Charged Surface Hybrid (CSH) C18 stationary phase under UPLC® conditions. Results demonstrate improved peak shapes with significant reductions in both analysis time and solvent consumption.
