Separation of Bovine Serum Albumin and Chicken Egg Lysozyme using PureSpeed Ion Exchange Tips
3 Nov 2014This application note shows that ion exchange with the PureSpeed system is capable of yielding highly purified protein. Lysozyme is not efficiently retained by the strong anion exchange resin, while BSA is retained and purified. PureSpeed’s four different resin types, in conjunction with an E4 XLS 8- or 12-channel pipette make parallel purification of multiple proteins possible.
