Rapid and Accurate Metabolite Identification Using a High Resolution MS/MS Human Metabolite Spectral Library for Human Biofluid Metabolomics

This application note describes the creation of a high-resolution, manually curated MS/MS spectral library of about 800 human metabolites based on the use of a high performance quadrupole-time-of-flight (Q-TOF) mass spectrometer. It illustrates the application of this library for rapid and accurate metabolite identification in untargeted metabolome profiling of human plasma, urine and saliva samples.
