Protein Levels and mRNA Knockdown: The importance of accurate protein quantification in RNA silencing using PCR, Western blotting, and In-Cell Western™ assays.
15 Apr 2014In this scientific poster, a high quality quantitative analysis of RNA silencing was obtained using two applications of the Odyssey® Infrared Imaging system; the quantitative western blot and the In-Cell Western™ (ICW) assay. Cells transfected with Akt1 siRNA or scrambled siRNA (NS1) were subjected to both quantitative real time PCR (qRT-PCR) and quantitative Western blot analysis.
