Non-Destructive Measurements of Total Soluble Solids in Chocolate Persimmon

This application note details how the F-750 Produce Quality Meter can be used to measure sugar content (Total soluble Solids (TSS)) in Chocolate Persimmon non-destructively. The F-750 Model Builder Software was used to correlate destructive TSS reference values to non-destructive spectral data. The F-750 is shown to produce accurate TTS values throughout development and storage without damaging the fruit.
