MultiQuant™ Software 2.0 for Targeted Protein / Peptide Quantification

11 May 2017

Multiple Reaction Monitoring (MRM) is a mass spectrometry experiment that allows very sensitive and specific quantification of targeted analytes. MRM experiments require triple quadrupole systems. The QTRAP® system, which is a hybrid triple quadrupole linear ion trap instrument, can also perform these experiments because the Q3 can function as a linear ion trap or as a standard quadrupole. A key component of the MRM assay workflow is software processing, which is explained in this document.

SCIEX

The QTRAP 6500+ system featuring the multi-component IonDrive technology and enhanced with an IonDrive high energy detector+ pushes the boundaries of LC-MS/MS quantitation farther than ever before. The revolutionary sensitivity, speed, and performance delivered through these technology enhancements are designed so you can see it all, from low mass to high mass compounds, in positive or negative polarity – in a single injection, with high sensitivity, reliability, and confidence.
