Measuring Protein Concentration in Cell Lysates by Direct UV280 Absorbance in the NanoPhotometer® P330

16 Jul 2017

The most rapid and reproducible method to determine protein concentration over a wide range is by measuring absorbance at 280nm by spectrophotometry. This application note describes how the NanoPhotometer® P330 can accurately measure as little as 0.5 microliters, making it the ideal instrument to measure protein concentrations in complex soluble cell extracts.
