Small and powerful!
Nucleic Acid Quantification
Initially, we were looking for a nanophotometer capable of working as an independent unit without a computer but this instrument is truly standalone having its own battery pack and wireless connectivity. UI is very clean and overall system is reliable. I compared the accuracy of the readings with nanodrop and found they both match perfectly with less than 1% of variation! It's a new instrument in our lab and no problems so we are very happy with the performance!! I got a chance to talk to the technical service department and they seemed helpful!

Love this instrument- it's making my life easier one drop at a time.
Protein UV Analysis
I love this instrument. It's state-of-the-art, portable, and it contains a variety of useful applications, all of which seem to be straightforward, without any hassle. The computer system is well-designed, and it's connectivity options are impressive. Finally, the Implen support team is as-always a huge step above those we've worked with at Thermo and other companies. I'm excited for everything we'll do with our N60! I used the P-class from Implen several years ago in GMP, and it delivered exactly what we needed. Several years later, I recommended that our company purchase an N60 over a similar instrument from Thermo, for A280 protein testing in particular. I'm so glad we went with what we did; the instrument itself is beautiful, easy to use, GMP/GLP-compliant, and the technical support at Implen can't be beat. Also, the price was excellent, especially considering how much better this product works overall in comparison to similar instruments. I would recommend the N60 and any other NanoPhotometer by Implen to anyone looking to obtain accurate, consistent protein measurements on an easy-to-use platform.

Awesome machine. I would purchase another one for additional labs.
Genetics Academic Laboratory -Microarray Core
I love the dynamic range for RNA/DNA measurements. We did our own in house check for reproducibility. The interface is very user friendly and easier to use than nanodrop. We like that we can use 1 ul of precious sample for an accurate reading rather than the required 1.5ul for nanodrop. I am in the midst of uploading the newest upgraded software so I will test it out and give additional feedback. This has been a god-send. We have very low concentration samples that are very precious and this allows us to make measurements on these types of samples. Also, after doing PCR amplification, we no longer have to make dilutions for the upper limit readings due to the large dynamic range.
