Improving the tapped density of the cathode material to make a lithium-ion battery hold more energy

This application note explores the relationship between particle size distribution (PSD) and the tapped density of Li-ion battery (LIB) cathode materials. Here, the BeDensi T Pro Series instrument display was used to confirm that the optimal tapped density was attained by tuning particle size distribution.
