Coffee Bean Measurement Under the Pressure of the Quest™ with Infrared Spectroscopy

Coffee Bean Measurement Under the Pressure of the Quest™ with Infrared Spectroscopy

25 Nov 2015

This application note demonstrates the measurement of the infrared spectrum of a coffee bean under different hardness conditions using a single reflection ATR accessory made of diamond. Coffee beans that have been prepared for coffee machines are extremely hard. Materials such as these are difficult to measure with reflection techniques.
