Assess Mitochondrial Membrane Potential with MitoPT™
12 Dec 2014ICT’s MitoPT™ mitochondrial permeability detection kits can be used to quantitate mitochondrial functionality and apoptosis. These unique kits are not ELISAs and do not use antibodies. This application note demonstrates that MitoPTTM reagents are cell-permeant fluorescent probes that enter intact mitochondria and fluoresce red. Once the mitochondrial membrane is compromised, the red fluorescent signal decreases.
