Analysis of VOCs in water using the TriPlus RSH ITEX system
15 Apr 2024Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are a diverse group of carbon-based chemicals that easily evaporate into the air at room temperature, posing potential health risks and contributing to air pollution and the formation of ground-level ozone and smog. CTC Analytics presents a method for quantifying VOCs in drinking water using the TriPlus™ RSH ITEX system coupled with a Thermo Scientific™ ISQ™ 7000 MS system and a Thermo Scientific™ TRACE™ 1310 Gas Chromatograph. The goal being to demonstrate a routine analytical method with evaluated linearity and detection limits.
