Analysis of Protein Hydrolysate Amino Acids using OPA Post-column Derivatization by Quaternary Low Pressure Gradient System
Analysis of Protein Hydrolysate Amino Acids using OPA Post-column Derivatization by Quaternary Low Pressure Gradient System
16 Nov 2015Amino acid analysis has been applied to several categories such as food, medicine, protein science and metabolome study, and is an important measurement technique. An amino acid analysis system using a low pressure gradient unit with OPA post column derivatization provides excellent repeatability and good separation in a short analysis time. The analysis results of food analysis and amino acid composition analysis of protein using this amino acid analysis system are reported.

ProteomicsProteomics is the systemic bioinformatics study of proteins and amino acids, including their structure, size, function and identification. Tools used in proteomics include chromatography, blotting and gels, protein arrays, mass spectrometry and ELISA and associated analysis software. Analyzers and proteomic systems should be sensitive, high resolution, fast and may be automated for high-throughput.Food and Beverage AnalyzersFood and Beverage Analyzers are commonly used to provide information about the chemical composition, structure and physical properties of food materials.Food and Beverage ProcessingFood and Beverage Processing involves the preparation of food products for further analysis. Typical instrumentation includes blanchers, color sorters, cookers, grinders, and refrigeration. These are used to replicate the processes commonly used in the commercial preparation of food and beverages.Amino AcidsMetabolomicsMetabolomics is the study of small metabolites (the intermediates and products of metabolism). It involves the identification and quantification of cellular metabolites using analytical technologies such as GC, HPLC, NMR, and LC/MS.Food TestingFood testing refers to a variety experiments including PCR, mass spectrometry, processing, QuEChERS, analyzing and Kjeldahl.Precision MedicinePrecision medicine refers to the idea of customized healthcare, where medical decisions and treatments are tailored to the individual patient. Molecular diagnostics, companion diagnostics and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) play a pivotal role in this approach.
