Acute Insulin Resistance due to Insulin Receptor Antagonism Induces Dysregulation of Nuclear-Encoded Mitochondrial Gene Expression In Vivo

25 Nov 2014

This study aimed to determine the impact of acute experimentally induced insulin resistance in vivo in the absence of complicating developmental defects. S961 was administered to mice, and the effects on systemic metabolism and gene expression was examined. Oxygen consumption was analyzed using the X24 Bioanalyzer from Seahorse Biosciences.
