AAV aggregate quantitation and identification with the Aura system

19 Dec 2023

In this application note from Halo Labs, explore the new Aura™ platform, the first ultra-low-volume, subvisible particle analysis system that quantitatively characterizes the stability of different AAV serotypes with as little as 5 μL. Consider how several AAV serotypes tend to form large, subvisible aggregates that cannot be predicted using other techniques. Furthermore, discover the stability and subvisible particle formation in AAV2, AAV5, and AAV8 under different stress conditions and compare the results to stability predictions made by differential scanning calorimetry.

Aura

Halo Labs

Aura® is the particle and aggregate detection system that combines Backgrounded Membrane Imaging which images 100% of your sample to give you count, size, and morphological information, with up to 2 channels of Fluorescence Membrane Microscopy. Identify if particles are protein or not with the first FMM channel and determine if your sample contains lipids, hydrophobic entities, or other aggregates of your choice with a second.
