A great alternative to the vacuum manifold with many advantages!
Filtration of samples through 96-well filter plates
This is a fantastic alternative to the classic vacuum manifold. I find it to be much more consistent, as far as well-to-well filtration rates go and much more uniform across the whole plate [no "edge effects"]. More importantly, there is no cross -talk! That is to me the most important feature because I have observed some well-to well cross contamination when I use the vacuum manifold so that was definitely a big plus!

Solid phase extraction of toxicology samples
We use this positive pressure manifold for our analyses that require solid phase extractions. We switched several years ago from a vacuum manifold, which was very difficult to use and did not hold as many samples. This manifold holds 48 samples, and is set up in rows of 12. It is very easy to add solvents/reagents to the solid phase columns, because of the layout. We get consistent results, and are very glad we switched to this positive pressure manifold.

Analysis of therapeutic and abused drugs and metabolites in urine and oral fluid
I have found the manifold very easy to use and maintain. The system was through a rigorous validation process for a new method and the results were very reproducible.

Positive Pressure Manifold Features:
- All 48 positions are individually regulated to provide even pressure to each column.
- There are four banks of 12 positions each. The user can control flow to each of the four banks.
- Capacity of 1 to 48 columns adaptable for size 1mL, 3mL, 6mL, 10mL or 15mL.
- Air Supply: N2 or compressed air regulated to 75 psi and filtered to 10μm.
- Dual pressure regulators allow users to set different pressures for extraction and column drying.
- Includes waste reservoir that drains automatically.
- Single switch raises and lowers the sample racks and creates an airtight seal.
