  • Application Area:Thermoelectrics

"The LabRAM HR Evolution Raman microscopes are ideally suited for both micro and macro measurements, and offer advanced confocal imaging capabilities in 2D and 3D. The true confocal Raman microscope enables the most detailed images and analyses to be obtained with speed and confidence. With guaranteed high performance and intuitive simplicity, the LabRAM HR Evolution is the ultimate instrument for Raman spectroscopy. They are widely used for standard Raman analysis, PhotoLuminescence (PL), Tip Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (TERS) and other hybrid methods. Move from microscopy to the nanoscopy world with an easy AFM upgrade."

  • Application Area:SERS

"We purchased a Raman microscope with four different visible lasers, four different diffraction gratings. The company was very helpful, and we got that we needed for our applications in the field of SERS."

A lot of room for Horiba to improve its service.
Rating: 2.7

  • Application Area:Analyze protein structural changes

"The installation engineer did a horrible job. He didn't even get the right components for the UV-Raman, which we found out a long time after when a researcher tried to use UV-Raman. Documentation was almost non existant. No maintenance tips were ever given. The sliver lining is that the service engineers were very helpful. Instrument was broken down. Had to spend funds to get a service engineer on site just to find what went wrong. Horiba should improve its after sale service, not just selling products."
