Description

UCT's Enviro-Clean® Polymeric WAX Cartridges w/Polyethylene frits have been successfully utilized for the extraction of 26 diverse per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) in drinking water in addition to the 14 covered in the US EPA Method 537.

Application NoteEnvironmental

Analysis of PFAS in aqueous samples by solid-phase extraction and LC-MS/MS

This application note outlines the analysis of 40 distinct PFAS in aqueous samples as per EPA 1633 3rd draft method by utilizing UCT’s Enviro-Clean® polymeric weak-anion exchange (WAX) SPE cartridges. Using a SelectraCore® C18 HPLC column and LC-MS/MS, discover how this approach was able to achieve baseline separation for many critical analytes with R2 values >0.99.

Application NoteEnvironmental

Analysis of PFAS by solid-phase extraction and LC-MS/MS

The significance of examining the levels of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in various matrices cannot be overstated. At present, two validated and published USEPA methods are available for examining PFAS in drinking water. In this application note, learn more about the analysis of 40 distinct PFASs in aqueous samples as per EPA 1633 3rd draft method by utilizing UCT Enviro-Clean® polymeric weak-anion exchange (WAX) SPE cartridges.

Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFASs) in Drinking Water Using Solid-Phase Extraction and LC-MS/MS

This application note outlines a simple SPE procedure for the extraction of 26 diverse per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) in drinking water using UCT’s polymeric weak-anion exchange SPE cartridges (ENVIRO-CLEAN® WAX). Instrumental analysis was carried out by LC-MS/MS in less than 10 minutes using a Selectra® C18 HPLC column. Overall, excellent recovery and reproducibility were obtained at the low concentrations tested.

2021 PFAS solutions technical presentation

In this video, Abderrahim Abdelkaoui, application chemist at UCT, discusses analytical solutions for the measurement of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in drinking water. Abdelkaoui discusses the lifecycle and impact of PFAS in the environment and optimized methods for detecting PFAS contamination.
