"Easy to use. I really like their website, however their mobile app leaves much to be desired. you can't book equipment from the app which is what I'd primarily like it for. other than that its a very intuitive platform which I'm thrilled my lab uses. It's so convenient to be able to keep track of all our reagents and experiments in one place. Helps with planning experiments and keeping inventory. Again my only critique is to update the mobile app to include more of the features that are possible on the site."

"I'm so glad I was able to give this product a test-run. I love that it works in conjunction with the Eppendorf equipment we have in our lab. I can keep track of sample inventory, easily identify the type of samples and where they are located without having to open the freezer. It is a bit difficult to learn to use, but playing with it a bit and you'll get the hang of it."

"I use the product eLabJournal to take notes and keep track of my strains within the lab space. The note taking software is fine. I think a simple Word document can do a little more, but one thing eLabJournal has over a Word document is the simple process of linking directly to the strain or enzyme used. This feature makes it much easier to find that item next time you need it. The strain collection tracking software is second to none. The strains can be virtually stored in custom compartments. When you move them in the lab space you simply move them in the virtually space. It is very difficult to lose a strain with this software."

Sometimes it does malfunction, for example when my internet connection is not the best, it tends to get stuck and does not want to save my experiments. The product is not difficult to use. Although I would appreciate the product even more if it was an app instead of a site."

"I like how easy the e-labjournal is to use. The lay-out makes the end result very comprehensive, making it a labjournal that someone else would be able to follow without asking further directions from the writer. I find the price fair for how much you need this product, how easy it is to use and how much easier it makes your lab-life. The automatic save function and the ability to go back and recover your previous functions, are life-savers. I have not received any troubles with this product so far, and I've been using it for over a year."

"It's a great lab journal tool which makes it easy to search in past experiments. The smartphone app is very convenient for bringing protocols to the lab without the need to print. Because of the large number of possibilities it takes some time to learn your way around. There are some things that still need to be done on a computer and cannot be done in the app, such as adding procedures to experiments/projects."
