"The Duetta is the first spectrometer that I have encountered, which allows combined UV/Vis and fluorescence spectrometry in a single instrument with a small instrument footprint. It removes the hassle of switching measurement cells between instruments. In addition, it offers very fast spectral results and is also suitable for working with samples of limited long-term stability. Finally, although not in the official list of functions, we have used the instrument to record luminescence emission spectra, due to high speed of data acquisition (CCD detector)."

Duetta is a revolutionary fluorescence/UV-Vis spectrometer that combines fluorescence and absorbance spectroscopy into one instrument, eliminating the need for multiple scanning instruments. In addition to traditional fluorescence and UV-Vis-NIR absorbance spectroscopy modalities, the new system also features fluorescence Excitation Emission Matrices (EEMSs) with simultaneous absorbance measurement providing extended linear dynamic range due to automatic inner filter effect corrections.
