TA makes great instruments. I have used their DSC and TGA's as well as DMA at several companies, They are the go to company for Thermodynamic analysis equipment. Their software is very easy to use and it can be used on all three pieces of equipment, with just a slight variation in the set up procedure for each test.

Have not been using for long, however the instrument is serving its purpose well. Sometimes the cell cover is difficult to remove and painful on my thumbs. Would like support on using TRIOS software as it is not super relatable to UA.

Differential Scanning Calorimeters (DSC) measure temperatures and heat flows associated with thermal transitions in a material. Properties measured by TA Instruments’ DSC techniques include glass transitions, “cold” crystallization, phase changes, melting, crystallization, product stability, cure / cure kinetics, and oxidative stability.
