Good quality control material.
Application Area:Quality control for manual cell counts on hemocytometer
"Control is easy to use. I haven't heard from my sales rep, but I did with our previous sed rate analyzer. I rated 3 stars for the value because the package size is too large for our use. It usually expires before we use up the 6 bottles."

This is an assayed hemocytometer control for manual cell counts. Works great!
Application Area:Hematology
"Great product. We needed to start running a hemocytometer/cytocentrifuge control for manual cell counts and differentials. This is now required by our accrediting agency. We are pleased with the ease of use and assayed values that ensure our technical staff is performing testing accurately."

Keeps our techs consistent and accurate.
Application Area:Hemocytometer manual counting
"We've used Streck Cell-Chex for the past 10 or so years, rarely do we experience an order that is delayed. The controls have a lengthyh expiration dates which makes it ideal for labs with a lower volume for body fluids, but still must maintain competent QC records."
Manufacturer's ResponseThank you for the review and Streck appreciates that you have trusted Cell-Chex for over a decade! We are honored and grateful for your business. We are happy to hear the product has worked so well for your lab and record keeping needs.

Great product for training students and new techs!
Application Area:Body fluid cell count control
"This supply came in very handy when it came to training techs and students on manual body fluids and crystals! It gives great bang for your buck because it has WBCs, RBCs, CPPD Crystals, and MSU Crystals all in one little kit. It is also good for competency checks."
Cell-Chex is a cerebrospinal and body fluid manual procedural control for red blood cell (RBC) and white blood cell (WBC) counts, urate and CPPD crystal identification and white blood cell differentiation. The white blood cells in Cell-Chex are human to better mimic patient samples. When stained in the same manner as a patient sample, the technologist can differentiate granulocyte, lymphocyte and monocyte populations. The differential assay offers polymorphonuclear and mononuclear values and 5-part white cell differential values.
It is the only manual body fluid control that contains crystals to aid in crystal identification in synovial fluid samples. Crystals can be easily identified without interfering with RBC and WBC counts using a hemacytometer or WBC differential counts using a cytocentrifuge smear.
