Promising for research but service has to be improved.

  • Application Area:Mycobacterial glycolipid analysis

"For structural elucidation, the MSn capabilities due to the original analyzer geometry, provided well resolved and reproducible results. Those were published in a scientific journal describing a new fragmentation mechanism. Unfortunately, service maintenance in France for this equipment is not efficient because too few instruments are installed. So reliability has to be improved: we get pressure chamber plate issues that maybe can be fixed with a new plate model. I did not evaluate quantification and/or calibration for this model. Finally, I managed to use the software without any training so it seems user friendly."
