The Via3-Cassette™ is an advanced cell sampling and staining device designed for use with the NucleoCounter® NC-203™. enabling precise and reliable cell count and viability measurements.
The Via3-Cassette™ contains immobilized acridine orange (AO) and DAPI to distinguish between total and dead cell populations. As the sample flows through the cassette, the dyes dissolve and uniformly stain cells for consistent results.
The Via3-Cassette™ integrated pipette allows direct sample loading without additional pipetting or reagent preparation. This simplifies the workflow, reduces hands-on time, and minimizes the risk of user error.
The cassette features an analysis volume of approximately 1.35 µL. To ensure high accuracy, each cassette is individually volume-calibrated during production. The exact volume is encoded in a binary dot-code printed on the cassette and read by the instrument to calculate cell concentration precisely.
Designed as a closed system, the Via3-Cassette™ is well suited for cleanroom environments, eliminating the risk of spillage and operator exposure while preventing hazardous waste. It also removes the need for trypan blue, supporting a safer, non-toxic workflow.
