Trypan Blue Stain, 0.4%
Trypan Blue Stain is a vital dye used to assess cell viability and generally used for brightfield cell counting.
When assessing cell viability with Trypan Blue, viable cells with intact cell membranes remain colorless indicating a healthy cell. With Trypan Blue, cell membranes that are not intact will be stained blue to indicate a non-viable cell (or unhealthy cell).
